Individual Lessons – This class is designed for one or two people and provides lots of individual instruction. The minimum time recommendation is three hours and not more then four.
Three Hour Group Lessons - This class will cover basic casting fundamentals and provide a ground work for understanding fly rods & reels, basic fly types and other components of fly fishing. Upon completion you will have a foundation from which to build on.
All Day Group Lessons - This eight hour class will cover basic and intermediate casting techniques, understanding fly rods & reels, basic fly types, fly selection, knots and there use in fly fishing along with other components. The last hour of class will be spent applying what you have learned while fishing.
Fly Fishing Schools – Weekend long classes are custom built to suit your desires and comfort level. From tent camping, to staying in a bed & breakfast or your own bed each night we can design a weekend school that will take you and your team from a true beginner to catching fish with a fly rod.
Introduction to Spin/Fly Fishing from a Kayak - You will gain the essential knowledge and skills necessary to fish from a kayak while learning kayak fishing techniques, rigging, positioning and safety. Participants will also develop a sense of etiquette, conservation, and stewardship. Learning to fish from a kayak properly will provide participants a chance for physical and emotional relaxation, a means to new acquaintances, meaningful outdoor experiences, and a healthy way to spend leisure time. Kayaks, paddles, PFD's and fly fishing gear provided.
Family Casting Clinic - This class is designed for 6 pairs of adult/child teams and will cover basic casting fundamentals while providing an opportunity to bond with one another. Learning to fly fish together will provide a chance for physical and emotional relaxation; offer a meaningful outdoor experience, and a significant way to spend leisure time together. Designed for children 11-18 years of age & parent/guardian
Our fly fishing program is a great way your or your team to get away from the office for some outdoor recreation and learn something new. You will need comfortable seasonable clothing, sun glasses, sun screen, state fishing license and prepared to have some fun! All equipment will be provided and no experience is necessary.
